SUMMARY:Guided Bird Walk - POSTPONED
DESCRIPTION:This event is postponed until further notice. Check back soon for updates!  \n  \nJoin RLC for a unique bird walk at our Cienega Canyon Preserve! The walk will be led by RLC’s very own Co-Interim Executive Director and resident falconer\, Rebecca K. O’Connor\, and community member Steve Myers. Steve has been birding in southern California for more than 40 years. As a (semi-retired) wildlife biologist\, he has conducted surveys for birds\, including several endangered species\, throughout nearly all of southern California. Since the early 1980s he has led field trips to many locales for the San Bernardino Valley Audubon Society\, the Mojave Desert Bird Club\, Western Field Ornithologists\, and the Wildlands Conservancy. He is also a permitted bird bander\, and teaches banding classes through the Desert Institute. \nOpen to all ages. The Guided Bird Walk will take place over approximately 1-3 miles of (sometimes uneven) dirt trails. Space is limited\, reserve your spot today! For questions\, email Rachael at rhamilton@riversandlastg.wpenginepowered.com.
