DESCRIPTION:Rivers & Lands Conservancy is excited to be a part of the “Community Climate Action Day” and “Put the River Back in Riverside” community event on Saturday\, September 23! In the morning\, we will be partnering with our friends at Keep Riverside Clean & Beautiful by leading a team of volunteers for cleanup efforts along our adopted stretch of the Santa Ana River Trail. Click here to sign up as a volunteer alongside our cleanup efforts and see the Keep Riverside Clean & Beautiful flyer below for more details. \nIf you’re interested in volunteering to help establish native plant habitat\, plant trees\, remove invasive species\, or clean up the river\, click here to sign up with the California Action Climate Corps and see the flyers below for more information. FREE LUNCH is provided for all volunteers who participate in any of the activities described above! \nAfter a morning of volunteerism\, join us for a free\, family-friendly celebration that will feature local community groups and vendors. The celebration is open to the general public. You’ll find Rivers & Lands Conservancy staff at our event booth where will be sharing information about how to get involved with our beautification and cleanup efforts along the Santa Ana River & Trail. \n

DESCRIPTION:Join us for National Public Lands Day at the Mary Vagle Nature Center on Saturday\, September 23rd from 9am-12pm. Rivers & Lands Conservancy staff will be leading volunteer efforts to enhance habitat on one of our nearby conservation sites to benefit local endangered species. This event is hosted by the City of Fontana.
