SUMMARY:Restore the Dunes Volunteer Event
DESCRIPTION:Join Rivers & Lands Conservancy staff on Saturday\, February 17th from 9am to 12pm for a restoration workday at one of our Delhi Sand Dune conservation sites in Rialto\, CA. \nVolunteers will be assisting with a variety of restoration tasks\, including removing invasive weeds with hand tools (such as hula hoes\, rake hoes\, and shovels) and watering recently planted California natives by carrying buckets of water to planting sites. Volunteers will walk approximately 1-2 miles in total traveling back and forth to accomplish restoration tasks. The site is comprised of sandy and moderately uneven terrain. \nSpace is limited.
