SUMMARY:Delhi Sand Dune Habitat Restoration Volunteer Event-CANCELLED!
DESCRIPTION:***This event was cancelled due to the “Canyon Crest ” fire in the Jurupa Hills and has been rescheduled to December 6th. \n  \nInstead of Black Friday shopping\, “opt outside” and join us on Friday\, November 29th for a day of Delhi Sand Dune restoration at one of our conservation sites located in Fontana! We will be working with volunteers to expand our habitat restoration project by planting California native plants that support the endangered Delhi Sands Flower-loving Fly and other wildlife that call the rare Delhi Sand Dunes home. Participation in the event requires walking approximately 1 mile over uneven\, dirt terrain. All ages are welcome to attend. Interested volunteers must RSVP ahead of time to Angie at aleon@riversandlastg.wpenginepowered.com to reserve a spot and for more event details. Space is limited\, so save your spot today! \nThanks to grant funding from Edison International for supporting our work to restore Delhi Sand Dune habitat in our community. 😎🌾
