STAY TUNED FOR A NEW DATE. 🙂 \n \nJoin Rivers & Lands Conservancy staff on Sunday\, February 12th from 1pm-3pm to help us plant California native plants for local pollinators along Main Street in Downtown Riverside\, CA! All ages are welcome to attend.  Space is limited\, save your spot today!  All volunteers must RSVP to Rachael at rhamilton@riversandlastg.wpenginepowered.com. \nThis project is generously funded by the Bank of America Charitable Foundation\, Inc. and is being completed as part of Mayor Patricia Lock Dawson’s “Beautify Riverside” initiative. Thanks to our project partners at the City of Riverside Mayor’s Office and the City of Riverside Public Works Department for joining us on our efforts to restore native plant habitat while beautifying our community spaces.

SUMMARY:Restore Dune Habitat Volunteer Event!
DESCRIPTION:Join Rivers & Lands Conservancy staff on Saturday\, February 18th from 9am to 12pm for a restoration workday at our Delhi Sand Dune conservation plots in Rialto\, CA. \nVolunteers will be assisting with a variety of restoration tasks\, including removing invasive weeds with hand tools (such as hula hoes\, rake hoes\, and shovels)\, watering California natives by carrying buckets of water to planting sites\, and picking up litter. Volunteers will walk approximately 1-2 miles in total traveling back and forth to accomplish restoration tasks. The site is comprised of sandy and moderately uneven terrain. Ages 8 and up recommended based on the nature of the activities. \nWe’re hoping the lovely lupines will be sprouting by then! Space is limited\, save your spot today.
