SUMMARY:Oak Watering Volunteer Event!
DESCRIPTION:Join Rivers & Lands Conservancy staff on Saturday\, June 29th to help take care of our oak restoration sites at our Cienega Canyon Preserve. We will be hand watering the young oak seedlings to help give them their best chance of survival through the summer heat. All ages are welcome to attend. Volunteers will be carrying water and walking over approximately 1-3 miles of dirt trails. Portions of the trail can be uneven and can include some uphill and downhill terrain. Please note\, there is no restroom on site. \nInterested volunteers must RSVP ahead of time to Angie at aleon@riversandlastg.wpenginepowered.com. Space is limited\, so save your spot today! \nMany thanks to our project funders at Inland Empire Resource Conservation District for supporting our efforts to restore and steward oak woodland habitat at Cienega Canyon Preserve with help from the community. 🌳🦉
