Volunteer Planting Event!

June 23, 2018 at 8:30 am - 11:30 am

Join us in celebrating National Pollinator Week by helping us plant California native plants at our Martha McLean - Anza Narrows park garden! The plants we will be planting support native pollinators, such as bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds by providing important habitat, nectar and pollen sources. We will be joined by Jacob M. Cecala, Ph.D. Candidate in the UC Riverside Entomology Department, who will share information on the different kinds of pollinators, how they benefit humans, and the easy ways people can get involved to help save them.

Volunteers of all ages are welcome. Check out our flyer for details.

Space is limited. Please RSVP to Rachael at rhamilton@riversandlands.org or 951-788-0670.
