Join Rivers & Lands Conservancy staff on Saturday, January 31st from 9am-12pm as we care for our California native plant garden at Martha McLean – Anza Narrows Park. We need your help to refresh this important patch of native plants!
Participating volunteers will be using a variety of hand tools to assist with planting, weeding, and spreading mulch and also hand carrying buckets of water. The garden is located on a slope adjacent to the Santa Ana River Trail; the dirt terrain can be uneven and includes some uphill and downhill walking. Due to the nature of the event activities and location, the recommended age range for this event is at least 14 years and older.
Volunteers must RSVP ahead of time through our signup platform by clicking here. Questions? Reach out to Angie at aleon@riversandlands.org. Space is limited, so save your spot today!
This event is made possible by generous contributions from our project partners at the City of Riverside Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department and with grant funding from Verizon. Many thanks to our dedicated partners and volunteers for supporting our ongoing efforts to restore native plant habitat while beautifying community spaces! 🌼🌾🦋 🐝
