“Granite Rapids Moon” Film Screening & Fundraiser!

November 15 at 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Join us on Saturday, November 15th for a special screening of Granite Rapids Moon at the Frida Cinema in Santa Ana! The first narrative feature film ever to shoot the majority of its footage inside the Grand Canyon, Granite Rapids Moon was made with permission and oversight from the National Park Service using only the equipment that cast and crew could carry on their backs through 82 miles of hiking. The family-friendly romantic drama contains no nudity, sex, guns, violence, drugs, or strong profanity. Check out the trailer!

The filmmakers are touring US theaters for single-night Q&A screenings throughout 2025. Ten percent of the film’s profits will be donated to Grand Canyon Conservancy, Leave No Trace, and Plastic Free Restaurants, and a portion of ticket sales at specific events will also benefit select local non-profits. Thanks to the generosity of the eco-minded filmmakers, a portion of the box office proceeds from the screening on November 15th will be donated to Rivers & Lands Conservancy. The more people who purchase tickets and attend, the larger our donation. Help us spread the word and invite your friends and family!

Tickets cost only $13 and can be purchased online here. Simply click on the 12:00pm showing button. We hope to see you there for a fun day out!
