Volunteer to help restore oak and riparian woodland habitat with us on Saturday, May 17th from 9am-12pm in San Timoteo Canyon located in the City of Calimesa! Participating volunteers will be assisting with a variety of hands-on activities, such as watering oak planting sites and removing invasive plant species from throughout the area, to support habitat restoration for the many types of wildlife that call the oak and riparian woodlands of San Timoteo Canyon home. Volunteers will be walking approximately 1-3 miles over uneven, dirt terrain for the duration of the event. All ages welcome.
Interested volunteers must RSVP ahead of time to Angie at aleon@riversandlands.org to reserve a spot and for more event details. Space is limited, so save your spot today!
This event is made possible by generous grant support from Inland Empire Resource Conservation District, Edison International, and contributions from our project partners at Western Riverside County Regional Conservation Authority and the Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District. 🌳🦉
