Join Rivers & Lands Conservancy staff on Saturday, February 18th from 9am to 12pm for a restoration workday at our Delhi Sand Dune conservation plots in Rialto, CA.
Volunteers will be assisting with a variety of restoration tasks, including removing invasive weeds with hand tools (such as hula hoes, rake hoes, and shovels), watering California natives by carrying buckets of water to planting sites, and picking up litter. Volunteers will walk approximately 1-2 miles in total traveling back and forth to accomplish restoration tasks. The site is comprised of sandy and moderately uneven terrain. Ages 8 and up recommended based on the nature of the activities.
We're hoping the lovely lupines will be sprouting by then! Space is limited, save your spot today. For more event details and to RSVP, email Rachael at firstname.lastname@example.org.
