Oak Watering Volunteer Event

Join Rivers & Lands Conservancy on Friday, June 20th to water and care for the young oak seedlings planted at our Cienega Canyon Preserve, located in the City of Calimesa. With help from the community, we’re restoring oak woodland habitat for the many types of wildlife that call Cienega Canyon Preserve home!

Participating volunteers will be hand carrying water jugs and walking approximately 1-3 miles over uneven, dirt terrain for the duration of the event to reach the oak restoration sites. All ages are welcome to attend. Participants under the age of 14 must have an adult volunteer accompany and supervise them for the duration of the event.

Volunteers must RSVP ahead of time through our new signup platform by clicking here.
