As you think about the past and ponder your vision for the future, you may be considering how you can make a significant difference in conserving open spaces in Inland Southern California. The term “planned giving” refers to charitable gifts that require some planning before they are made. You may want to investigate the possibilities of a planned gift.
Proceeds from planned gifts fund our endowment, ensuring our long-term success and stability. If you are considering including RLC in your planned giving and need more information, please contact us.

Many large companies in our area have a matching program for their employees. These companies even provide matching gifts for retirees and volunteers. Double the impact of your donation by asking your employer to match it. Check with your HR staff to find what your company can contribute.
Providing sustaining support for RLC is as simple as choosing an automatic recurring billing option. Specify a donation amount that will be automatically billed to you at an interval of your choice. Simply choose the amount and frequency (monthly, quarterly, or yearly) to begin your sustaining donation and earn special benefits.
RLC works with willing landowners and communities to conserve valuable open space lands through conservation easements and fee-title transfers. There are several factors that RLC considers when approached by someone who wants to conserve their land. These factors include, but are not limited to:
- Is the property consistent with RLC’s Mission?
- Does the property protect valuable resources?
- Is the property within or near an existing RLC project area?
- Will the property provide opportunities for public use?
- What acquisition and/or long-term management funding has been identified for the property?
RLC evaluates new conservation projects on a case by case basis. If you are interested in working with us to protect your land, please call us at 951-788-0670 or contact us via email.
