Come visit Rivers & Lands Conservancy staff at the Malki Museum’s annual Fall Gathering on Saturday, October 18th. We will have a booth where will be offering a hands-on activity for kiddos while sharing information about our conservation projects and volunteer opportunities. This family-friendly event is free for all and includes lectures, food tastings featuring Cahuilla harvest foods, and demonstrations such as Cahuilla bird singing, basket weaving, acorn leaching and grinding, pottery making, and flint-knapping.
