Calling extra strong volunteers to help us remove invasive plants on Friday, April 18th from 9am-12pm at Sycamore Canyon Wilderness Park in the City of Riverside! 💪 Participating volunteers will be using shovels and other various hand tools to dig out invasive plant species, such as green fountain grass (a non-native, highly invasive plant species that has spread into the Wilderness Park). Volunteers will be walking approximately 1 mile over uneven, dirt terrain for the duration of the event. *Please note, volunteers must be over the age of 18 to participate in this opportunity.
