If you had gotten married 100 years ago, you likely would have danced to composer Carrie Jacobs-Bond’s song “I Love You Truly.” Chances are you would also know the popular song that was inspired by a sunset view from the peak of Mt. Rubidoux and composed immediately after at The Mission Inn in 1910. Although it was written for her friends, “A Perfect Day” grew to become one of the most popular songs of the time. We are all waiting for the next popular song inspired by the peak! Maybe it will be written by you.
